Our fantastic German Warmblood mare Margharita Falkenhorst Z is available again, after being booked by time wasters several times since this summer.
Bred by the late Gwendolyn Gregorio in 2017 and has an exceptional pedigree. Milky Way – Win the Gold – Weltmeyer. Branded Zangersheide.
“I told myself that I would never have a mare again, but then I found Margharita Falkenhorst Z and was offered to loan her for a year! More secure and sound mare cannot be found!” – Vanessa Olsson
Colour: Cremello
Height around 153-155 cm (need to measure)
Margharita is DNA-tested and free from PSSM1 as well as Warmblood Fragile Foal Syndrom (WFFS). She is by parentage also free from PSSM2.
From Falkenhorst stud’s website: “Her father Milky Way GF is a Dutch approved and German approved stallion. Milky Way’s sire, the stallion Mascarpone GF, was the first ever Cremello Warmblood stallion that got a license for Warmblood breeding. He unfortunately died much too young but left many premium awarded offspring that have all inherited his wonderful character, outstanding and elastic movement and great jumping ability.
Milky Way’s dam competed successfully in dressage and jumping to the M level. She retired from competition at age of 10 and we could finally purchase her and use her as broodmare. She only produced premium awarded foals.
Her mother Meringue is by the stallion Win the Gold, who offers his rider all the attributes of an athlete, strong nerves, superb paces, plenty of will to work and a massive natural Jump.
Win the Gold is by WhiteMagic, who was the convincing winner of his stallion test, carries the high carat Dressage blood of Weltmeyer and Bolero, and successful competitor to Intermediare under Holga Finken before he sadly passed on much too soon in 2000. White Magic leaves a legacy of several top scoring mares, and with “Win the Gold” his first approved son. White Magic placed third at the Top Ten dressage producer list of the German FN 2001.
The sire of Win the Gold’s dam, the massive mover “Los Alamos” was the reserve champion of the Holsteiner Approval in 1990 and has so far produced a number of top level Jumping Horses. The dam herself is the half sister of the approved stallion “Color of Fun”.
Further back in his fourth generation we find more impressive competition blood, via the Hannoverian Perseus, son of the legendary Perser xx.”
Margharita is trained some with Natural horsemanship, target and was professionally broken in October 2021 with ease, and was on loan after that to a young woman who loved her. Not ridden much after that due to my stomach hernia. Trained with the same equipment as police horses, being as bomb proof as they get being able to walk on exploding ballons (even though I could not find that specific video) without reaction. I only have a few ridden videos of her during her breaking in, as this was during the pandemic.
She would be the perfect junior horse or mother-daughter horse, as she is used to all kind of traffick and animals like flying peacocks, geese, reindeers, elks et c.
I put in all that training as she was supposed to be my ridden horse, but after my stomach hernias I have realised that I need to put make new plans. She has never bucked or done anything negative when being ridden, but she wants to be trained and do fun stuff together with her owner.
Loves open outdoor stables but can also be indoors and is used being in a group of both small ponies and bigger horses.
The pictures and videos are from 2018-2022 except the last one that is from last week, but it is just so wet after the snow came and melted away.
We adore her, but as we really need cutting back due to both my husband’s and my own physical healing we need to have as few ponies at home as possible during this winter. We are only s3lling to the absolute best homes though, otherwise they are staying.
More Welsh A, B & Partbred and German Riding Pony broodmare available.
SWEDEN and can be transported worldwide to the right home, by our network of transporters!
I am not super fond of how the trainer at the Natural Horsemanship Clinic made her react, to show the handler how to train, but you can also see how fast she lets go of the unpleasant experience.
