Jaap’s multi champion father was the love of my life, who we lost through a freak accident; Pinewell Jeronimo. In his bloodlines we have the Friars again, who you can see by now are some of my favourites – among many other. Jeronimo was linebred on Friars Stud’s Friars Golden Charm, who is the origin of the illustrious Tear family, and whose granddaughter Friars Tears of Gold fetched £11,000 at Fayre Oaks High Flyer evening sale 2006, at the Royal Welsh Show-ground.
On the motherline we have the Elite stallion Ysselvliedt Special Edition and several interesting quality mares, for example his grandmother Snowdon Dymuniad who is also the mother of the powerful Cannenburgh’s Dark Prince who is 3/4 full sibling to Jaap.
His first crops of foals are very promising and we look forward to his future foals when he is on stud duty abroad. On stud lease with Haras des Mirys, France
