Friars Gwelais Hi

Gwelais Hi means ”I Saw Her” because her breeder Sian saw when she was being born.

“Gwen” is the granddaughter of the Supreme Royal Welsh Champion Friars Goldilocks, who is full sister to the major prize-winning Friars Tiny Tears whose daughter Friars Tears of Gold was sold to the world record price of 11.000 GBP at Fayre Oaks in 2006. In 2021, “Gwen” entered the Swedish quality book of the welsh organization with 39p on her first show.

For so many years, Friars Goldilocks has been one of the most beautiful mares I have ever seen, and I am so incredibly happy that I can hardly understand that her granddaughter is finally here with us.

“Gwen” is a very sweet, friendly and kind filly, of excellent type and with a wonderful movement. She is truly everything we could have hoped for!

Friars Liquid Gold, known to be one of the most influential mares and a very precious part of the Friars Stud’s history.

Her father Friars Moses is a full brother to twice Royal Welsh Winner Friars Queen of Hearts and Royal Welsh Winner Friars Donatella. Even though he himself is not shown, his progeny has been sold at the Fayre Oaks High Flyer.

Friars Gwelais Hi was awarded with 39p on the Welsh Swedish National in Eskilstuna July 2021 and was added to the quality book. Very good results for a very long, hot day and far away from home.  A big thank you to the handler Jacob van Woerden!
